In the best interest of all the students, and to ensure a quality ensemble, NCMEA maintains a strict participation policy. Students must be in attendance to all rehearsals. Students must sign a participation contract which states that they will observe the attendance requirement, be punctual, positively represent themselves and their school, maintain proper rehearsal etiquette, and show respect to the facilities of the hosting school. Students who are in violation of any NCMEA regulations are subject to removal from the festival and may not be invited to future NCMEA activities.
All students will be expected to participate in seating auditions for placement within their section. Seating will be determined based upon a student's preparation of the festival music. All decisions of the seating judge(s) are final.
Concert dress for every All-County group at every level is black and white. Boys should dress in black pants, white shirt with tie, black socks and black shoes. Girls should dress in black pants or a black long skirt that is at minimum below the knee and a white blouse.
Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the performance.
